CommBank School Banking
CommBank’s School Banking Program is intended to develop good saving skills for children.
A CommBank Youth Saver account, designed for anyone under 18 years of age, has no monthly or withdrawal fees, and pays bonus interest when there is at least one deposit and no withdrawals per month (on balances up to $50,000).
You can open a Youth Saver account at any CommBank branch, through the CommBank app (if you have a CommBank account) or online at commbank.com.au/schoolbanking. Your child will then be provided a Dollarmites deposit wallet, which can be used to make regular deposits through the school banking system. Campbell’s School Banking day is Thursday.
For every 10 deposits that are made children can claim a reward, with new rewards available each term -
Term One: Terry Denton’s Activity Book or Mini Soccer Ball
Term Two: Treetop Stationery Set or Treetop Handball
Term Three: Tomato Seed Kit or Magic Mist Drink Bottle
Term Four: Emoji Wallet or Snakes & Ladders Game
The school also earns rewards for each child involved in the program - so you can assist the school community whilst teaching your children important finance lessons.
