Semester 2 Academic Reports
Today Kindergarten to Year 6 families will have received their child/ren’s Semester 2 Academic Report.
As mentioned in a previous newsletter, you will notice that this semester’s reports look a little bit different to how they have in the past, due to varied ways learning was delivered during the remote period. As per Directorate guidance, Campbell teachers made decisions on what reporting outcomes (Achievement Standards) they have been able to gather evidence of learning for, and reported against.
Along with the Summative Reports, Years 1-6 have been given an A-E grade. These grades were determined by using on-balance judgement against the relevant Achievement Standard based on all of the assessment evidence collected over the semester, during both face-to-face and remote teaching.
Kindergarten to Year 6 students will receive a General Comment at the end of their Summative Report. The General Comment section provides families with a comment that reflects the whole semester and celebrates your child/ren’s achievements, acknowledging learning that occurred during both remote and face-to-face periods.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss your child’s report, please feel welcome to contact the school.
