Let's hear from Year 2!
What a busy and exciting time Year 2 have had in our last term, working together on a range of different learning activities. One in particular has been our investigation into the celebration of Campbell Primary’s 60th Anniversary, and why this is a significant event. We explored the school as it was, and how it will be, made comparisons and looked toward the future. In this process we even had the opportunity to design our own crest. Here are some examples:

Having prime views of the building site out of our windows this year has been very exciting for us all, and it sounds like our learners are keen to move in. Here are some of our thoughts:
“Then I get to have more space in the classroom and have more things to do.” - Zoe B.
“I am excited because it will be fun learning in a big space.” Riley M.
“It will be fun because we get to go out of our normal corridor and be with Year 3 and Year 4” - Matthew C.
“It's a 2 storey building and I’m really excited because our school is really old, and this is a new part and that’s really great!” - Tilly A.
“We will get to have a new place and with the new building and there will be more to explore” - Mika O.
