Hello families,

Next Friday 5^th November, we will be hosting a reimagined 60 Year Anniversary celebration. Each cohort will have an opportunity to visit the school’s history wall (a timeline of photographs and artefacts from the school community over the last 60 years), where they will take a walk back in time and learn a little bit about Campbell Primary School and the local community’s past. After everybody has visited the history wall, we will have a reimagined assembly, where students will remain in their classrooms and listen to stories about Campbell’s history on the PA system, and view a slide show presentation.

On Friday afternoon, each child will receive a special commemorative 60 year anniversary pin. Children are welcome to wear these special pins on their school uniforms if they wish. They will also each receive an individually wrapped vegan/gluten free/nut free cookie. The pins, cookies and new banner (soon to be seen at the front of the school building) have all been kindly funded by our P&C. A BIG thank you to the P&C for their generosity.

We are very much looking forward to celebrating this huge milestone for our wonderful school and community. As with many things this year, we have had to be creative and reimagine what things will look like. We thank our community for understanding and can’t wait to all get together and celebrate properly next year!
