It has been another fantastic year at Campbell Primary School! It’s such a privilege to work in such a great community, and especially to watch our students grow and change. I wanted to wish our year 6 graduating class good luck in their high school journeys; what an exciting new chapter for them. I am sure that we haven’t seen the last of most of them! I am quite sure there are a few future politicians amongst them….

Importantly I wanted to say “see you later” to our many ADF families who are either moving schools locally or posting away for 2020. We are very sad to be seeing so many of our community moving this year. That said in ADF circles we never goodbye, only see you later, and I am certain that we will see each other again in our travels. With 5 international postings, as well and relocations to literally every corner of Australia, we are sending our SCARFFF values that are so fundamental to Campbell Primary out to influence and grow far and wide! Whether you are near or far you will always be part of the Campbell Primary School community and we hope that you take many happy memories and lasting friendships with you. We wish you the best for all of your prepack, uplift and move and especially for your adventures to come. Please send us a postcard!

For our many families impacted by deployment this year – you are amazing! A special welcome home to a significant number of these who have arrived back in the last few weeks (and one tomorrow). To our remaining families who may this year celebrate Christmas without Mum or Dad due to ADF deployment overseas, you are in our thoughts. We hope that those overseas have a safe festive season and a speedy return home to your loved ones.

For those returning in 2020, thankyou for a fantastic year. I would like to wish you a safe and Merry Christmas and a relaxing holiday period. I am sure 2020 will be even bigger and better with new classes, new friends and new adventures.
