On Friday the 30^th of July, conveniently coinciding with green and gold day, our final group of little athletes got to enjoy their mini carnival on the school oval. Benefiting from much sunnier conditions than the main school carnival, they enjoyed an obstacle course, parachute play, fun relays and fundamental throwing games. To add to the festivities, 2M, their buddy class, got to not only cheer them on but join them in a fun and active afternoon. The activity culminated with a special picnic lunch, with the option to have hotdogs like were enjoyed during the school carnival.

A special thanks goes to the parents that were able to attend, the small group of year 6 leaders who ran the individual activities (and did a fabulous job), and to the 2M team that helped with setup and pack up. An extra thankyou to the canteen team for providing the special lunch opportunity. These events take a village, and we are incredibly privileged to have such a wonderful and supportive school community. We can’t wait to see the Whales at next year's carnival as big kindy students!
