Term overviews - Term 3

Term overviews are due to families this Friday. The overviews highlight all the teaching and learning that will take place over term 3. Included within the overviews are all the 'Important Dates' for Term 3, it is an incredibly busy and exciting term! We will endeavour to send through reminders about our upcoming events via our other communication platforms, for example, Seesaw and Facebook.

Preschool Visit – Florey Preschool

During Week 10 of Term 2 our Preschool team visited Florey Primary School’s Preschool. The purpose of the visit was to begin to build a collaborative Preschool network and to critically reflect on our practices in the Preschool setting, with the aim of improving and meeting the needs of our community. We are looking forward to hosting the Florey Primary School’s Preschool team to share our practice as we are a very small team. We look forward to the opportunities that can come from expanding our network.

ICAS Assessment

If you are a family that has enrolled their child to complete the ICAS assessments, please see the timetable below. As previously mentioned, the assessments will take place at school, during school hours and the students will be supported by Ms Minehan or another member of our teaching staff. If your child/ren is absent during the assigned date of the assessment he/she can sit the assessment upon their return to school. All students will receive a certificate. These would normally be handed out during assembly or at Yuma, however, at this stage with COVID restrictions these are not options. I will communicate to families how the certificates will be handed out when they arrive.
