Principal's message
Dear families and Carers,
Campbell Primary School is very fortunate to have a collaborative, professional and passionate group of teachers and support staff that work tirelessly to engage your children in meaningful learning each day. However, the staff at Campbell Primary School would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the many volunteers that we have in the school, as this is what truly makes CPS a community of learning.
I would especially like to thank our School board members Joshua Ryan, Catherine Bassingthwaighte and Leah Hanley. The School Board has positively represented the community and has been invaluable in providing input into the school’s improvement journey. It has been an absolute privilege to work collaboratively with the School Board and I am excited to continue this working relationship as we implement our new School Strategic plan in 2020.
I would also like to thank Tristan Kemp, Susan Hoffmann and our P&C for their valuable support and input into the school’s improvement agenda. The P&C are a strong advocate and support for enabling the school to provide engaging resources and programs to enhance the learning opportunities of our students. This year the P&C have assisted the school to purchase and organise STEM based lego, Chrome books, enrichment programs, excursions, orientations and graduation. We would also like to acknowledge the business side of the P&C as they continue to offer exceptional before and after school care (CASAC), Vacation care and the school canteen to support our community.
It is the continual support and active involvement of the P&C and the School Board that make Campbell Primary School a wonderful and unique learning community. If you are looking for a way to become more involved in the school the P&C and school board is the place to be!!!
Farewell year 6
It has been an absolute honour and privilege to watch you grow into the safe, respectful learners you are today. I thank you for allowing me to share in your learning, sporting achievements, performances and leadership. I hope as you look through your yearbook of wonderful memories that you take some time to reflect on all your achievements both big and small. Remember that you are still growing, branch out and embrace new adventures at High School, take risks and stand proud! Good luck and best wishes from all the staff at Campbell Primary School.
