Celebrating 60 Years
In August, we will be celebrating Campbell Primary’s 60 year anniversary. As we begin preparations for all of the exciting events, it’s been wonderful to connect with people who have been a part of the Campbell Community over the years. Paula Kinsman, Libby Gerner and myself are very much looking forward to meeting with Peter Jarvis, who was the principal here from 1985-1999. It will be great to hear from him how the school has changed in the last few decades!
On Friday 13th August we will be hosting a special assembly to celebrate this exciting milestone. In preparation for this event, Libby Gerner and myself are seeking stories, photographs and artefacts from Campbell Primary School and the local Campbell community from the last 60 years. If you have any items (or stories) of interest which we could borrow or photograph, please get in touch! We would love to hear from you!
If you’re somebody with a bit of creative flair, we are also on the hunt for a graphic designer who can help us out. Our hope is that a graphic designer will donate their time and skills to create a simple commemorative logo, celebrating Campbell’s 60 years. This logo will appear on a banner, commemorative items and other communications sent out to the community.
