Student Parliament
We were so lucky on Tuesday when Jeanette from Roundabout Canberra came to speak to our Year 6 leaders about the organisation, who they support and how they help the local community. There were some great discussions and left the leaders buzzing with many ideas for future initiatives.
Jeanette was very impressed with the young leaders and expressed her gratitude with our community's efforts in supporting their winter jacket drive.
If you haven’t heard about our donation drive, check out the details below.
Student parliament is supporting Roundabout Canberra, a local charity that supports families in need. Roundabout Canberra have a goal of gathering 500 kids winter jackets, and we would like to support them by collecting 75 from the Campbell Primary community. We want every small Canberran to have a warm winter and these jackets will help to ensure that this happens.
- What we need: children’s jackets up to size 16
- When do we need them : over the next 2 weeks
- Where can you deliver them to: drop them off to the black tub at the front office
- Our Goal is 75 jackets!
- We currently have 38 jackets!
Thank you so much to all who have donated! Let’s see if we can keep going.
