Campbell Primary School Cross Country
After a years’ hiatus and a postponement due to rain, Campbell Primary students finally got to put their weeks’ of running training to the test in the 2021 CPS Cross Country race. House spirit was high, as was the energy of all the runners. Almost every student from Preschool to Year 6 had a go at their event, making the house points race tighter than ever!
A big congratulations to the following students for placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd in their age category. Ribbons for these students will be handed out during Friday's Yuma and parents of the students are welcome to attend. Those families who do choose to be present will need to abide by social distancing regulations.

The top 5 finishers in each age category over 8 years will be invited to represent Campbell Primary at the North Gungahlin Cross Country at Stromlo Forest early next month. We know they will represent Campbell with pride.
A big thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped make the carnival such a success. It is wonderful to be able to start coming together again as a school community and we really couldn’t do it without our wonderful army of parent and friend helpers. A very special mention goes to our Year 6 House Captains who showed exceptional leadership on the day; particularly during the Kindy, Year 1 and Preschool races. These leaders then backed up with their own event! Way to show off your SCARFFF values!
Our next big sporting event with be our Athletics Carnival in Term 3. It’s time to start training! Get your throwing, jumping, sprinting skills ready!
