On Thursday 18^th March, 24 very enthusiastic Year 5 and 6 netballers headed over to Lyneham Netball Centre for the Inner North Netball Gala. It was extra exciting for the students attending as it was the first gala in more than 12 months and in many cases, their first ever netball games.

The Campbell Thunder and the Campbell Storm teams, expertly mentored by Mrs Penney, Mrs Stear and Brenda Sebastian and led by Emma Sebastian and Jordie Stear from Campbell High School, played with enthusiasm coming away with a win each from the four games played. Both teams improved each and every game, displayed fair play and team spirit, were fantastic representatives for Campbell Primary and were highly commended by the organisers and other schools present.

All students should be very proud of their efforts and we look forward to seeing them on the court again very soon! A special thanks to our netball aficionado and prolific CPS volunteer Brenda Sebastian for all of her time and enthusiasm in sharing her passion for netball with our students.
