STEM Day
On Thursday, 5th November, Campbell Primary School hosted a whole school STEM Day. The event, originally planned as the second annual community STEM night, was reimagined due to covid restrictions. Funded predominantly by the Education Directorate’s Girls in STEM Grant the day featured workshops, shows, presentations and hands on demonstrations with the theme “Women of STEM” from 9 different providers from across the STEM fields. Each class attended at least 2 different sessions across the day. Energy was high despite the inclement weather, and feedback from students was very positive.
We would like to thank the following organisations for their support in making the day such a success.
Please read below for a brief description of services each company provides.
