Thanks largely to the $280 million Australian Government Sporting Schools initiative, Campbell Primary School is thrilled to be making the most of the improving weather and getting out and getting active!

Designed to help increase children's participation in sport, and to connect them with community sporting opportunities, Sporting Schools’ programs are provided free to help students build the confidence and capability to be active for life.

Thanks to a term 3 boost to funding ALL Campbell Primary School students have benefited from a program this term. Supported by their classroom teacher and led by fully qualified coaches Kindy and Year 1 are loving soccer, Year 2 and Year 3 are scoring big at hockey, and Years 4-6 are smashing volleyball!

It’s been a fantastic year for sport despite there being no interschool competition with previous sessions in cricket and gymnastics also a big hit.

We can’t wait to try even more new sports in 2021! Watch this space.
