Last week Campbell Primary School celebrated NAIDOC week.

Teachers and students enjoyed reading textbooks, singing songs, and completing craft activities to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

On Tuesday, students from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture were invited to a wonderful celebration at Dickson College where we listened to music, watched dancing, shared a meal, and played buroijin (football) together. 

On Friday, we had an assembly where every class shared an item they had engaged in during the week to share with the rest of the school.  We had two Year 5 student representatives, Sade and Malaki, who led the school in a beautiful NAIDOC assembly. 

Thank you to all the students, staff and the Cultural Integrity team for all their hard work in the lead up to the successful week.  It was an amazing!
