After the cancellation of SC-ORE earlier in the year, all of the students who had registered for that event were ready and rearing to GO for this season’s 4 week challenge.

Thirty-one students from Years 3 to 6 have dragged themselves and their drivers (dedicated parents, neighbours and grandparents) out of bed early on Thursday mornings for the past 2 weeks, and have made their way to Lake Ginninderra for a 7.45am start. The 31 students are as follows:

D:            Violet L, Ethan F, James H (and there is space for one more girl if anyone is still keen!)

E:            Violet G, Kai K, Oliver L, Ollie P

F:            Claudia KH, Olivia A, Ella M, Georgia B

G:           Matilda S, Jiyan A, Claire Y (and there is space for one more boy!)

H:            Harriet R, Ayesha S, Jacqui H (and space for either boy or girl here)

I:             Caitlin Mc, Rosie A, Emery S, Sabrina FV

With 2 weeks to go, the Campbell teams have shown that they are dedicated and enthusiastic orienteers, and it is obvious that their skills and accuracy are improving rapidly. Many of our students are orienteering for the first time!

Although SC-ORE is all about having a great time outdoors with a map and some fast thinking, we are so pleased to report that some of our teams are currently holding 6^th, 7^th and 8^th place. Well done Campbell!

The next 2 weeks’ events will be held at Black Mountain Peninsula.
