Important Messages from the Front Office
Absence notifications
When advising the school of your child/ren's absence, either:
- phone the school on (02) 6142 3580,
- email campbellps@ed.act.edu.au, or
- use the Campbell Primary School mobile app.
Please don't use seesaw or email staff members directly regarding your child's absence as your message may not be attended to in a timely manner.
An important part of our transition into the new School Administration System (SAS) is sending SMS messages to inform of student absences.
Students who arrive after 9:00am will be marked as absent. The teacher will not amend the roll in the classroom. Your child will need to inform the front office of their arrival and wait patiently while their name is recorded in order to amend the roll correctly.
Should you receive an SMS message to let you know your child has been recorded as absent you can simply reply via SMS, with your child's name and the reason for your child’s absence and we will update our records. In your response/advance notification of absences, please include the student name, roll class, date of absence/s, reason for absence, period of absence (partial or full day), parent/carer’s name.
Semester 2 Reports
Continuing on from Semester 1, Semester 2 reports will be sent out via email. Please make sure the school has your current email address. Updates can be made by sending an email to campbellps@ed.act.edu.au, or calling us on (02) 6142-3580.
