Writing Enrichment Excursion
On the 28th October Enrichment students from Years 1-6 visited the National Museum of Australia - Dreamworlds Animation exhibit. The students were led by an educator from the Museum who shared with the student’s multimodal examples of storytelling. A very big thank you to the P&C who very generously contributed to some of the costs of this excursion. Our students (and their supervising teachers) were very excited to share and implement some of the explored methods.
Boorowa Netball Carnival
On the 25th October some of our Year 3-6 students participated in the Boorowa Netball Carnival. It was a brilliant opportunity for the students, playing five games over the day. Our students represented Campbell Primary brilliantly, as they worked collaboratively, encouraged one another and most importantly had fun! Under the leadership of Alistair Scherer, a very big thank you to the attending staff, Rachel Green, Kate Marley, Shanly Cheater and of course our volunteers Mia Ballet, Caitlin Weaver, Lorraine Rankin and Shane Cosgrove. A big thank you to Brenda Sebastian who spent many a lunchtime running practises for our students in preparation for the day.
