ACT Instrument Music Program information sessions
'We believe music and arts education is essential for the holistic development of all students.'
For over 50 years, the Instrument Music Program (IMP) has brought a love of music and the arts to students across Canberra.
It is associated with 60 schools, with classes operating across primary schools and high schools. Classes include the IMP Band Class, which teaches selected Year 5 and 6 students to play a band instrument. It includes an instrument, groups lessons and all the music required. IMP also offers combined ensembles, including concert bands, choirs and percussion ensembles, as well as special events.
