In Week 8, Kindergarten visited Tidbinbilla as part of our Inquiry unit investigating Country, and the connections we make between ourselves and Country.

The day was packed full of learning and fun as we explored the Eucalypt Forrest and saw koalas, (including a joey!) and went on a guided walking tour with Ranger Scott.

The fun didn’t stop there!

For lunch we got back on the bus and went to the picnic area with a playground that had a flying fox, slides and even some water play!

When we came back to school, the Kindergarten Sharks looked at some pictures that were taken from the day and sequenced them in order of events. Students then cut out the pictures and wrote about each picture, creating a book of our time at Tidbinbilla. We stretched ourselves with our writing and created detailed illustrations.

We are so proud of the Sharks and the hard work they have put into creating their books.
