Celebrating our Students

Visit by Minister Vassarotti - Friday 28 June

Last Friday we had a visit from Minister Vassarotti and representatives from Landcare and Woolworths. They were all invited to help acknowledge a Landcare/Woolworths grant Karyn Penney initiated, based on our sustainability work. The student Caring Committee, led by Cassie, Marissa, Althea, and Anjali hosted our Yuma.

After Yuma, members of the lunchtime Gardening Club brought our guests to our garden beds and worm farm to show them how we care for our environment. Our guests were so impressed with the passion and commitment of our students.

A big thank you to Kate Deady, Kerry Johnstone, Karyn Penney, Carol Roland, Jessie Hewitt and Kristy Nguyen, who helped support our students in preparation for the visitors. The students did a great job and I am a proud principal!

Year 3-4 Boys Basketball

An independent Year 3-4 boys basketball team recently competed in the ACT Basketball Jamie Pearlman Cup. The team was organised by one of our parents  which was a mixed group of students from other schools. The boys did incredibly well, working collaboratively, supporting one another, making their way into the grand final. A big congratulations to Luka M, Ryan S, Taran N, Liam W and Easton K

Community Principal Announcement

I am incredibly excited to have been recently appointed as the permanent Principal of Campbell Primary School. It is an absolute privilege to lead such a vibrant and dedicated community. My vision for Campbell is founded on collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous improvement. I want to express my deepest gratitude for the support I have received and look forward to working with you all.

Wishing our community a wonderful break and I am looking forward to a fantastic Term 3.
