I'm Taite Gregg, and I am so pleased to be the new Defence Mentor at Campbell Primary School. Raised in a military family, I attended eight schools due to my father's 49-year army career.

I pursued a career in early childhood education, and afterward, I spent nine years working in an interior design studio in Canberra.

Now, I'm thrilled to be supporting this amazing school community in any way possible! I am employed by Campbell Primary School and funded by the Department of Defence to support students from active service Australian Defence Force (ADF) families, particularly through the challenges of frequent relocation and parental absence.

My role also includes connecting families to local community and defence support and opportunities. I am privileged to be a part of the Campbell Primary School support team that also includes our wonderful admin staff, dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), and our school psychologist.

It is my goal in the next few weeks to get into each classroom in a support role so I can get to know all students, defence or non-defence. If I see you around the school, please say "hi". I really look forward to meeting you all and learning more about the Campbell Primary community.
