How lucky are we! This time it is Year 5 (with a few lucky Year 4 students) benefiting from coaching from professional athletes! With four x one hour sessions spread across several weeks we are making the most of our new court facilities improving our skills, fitness, teamwork, communication, and leadership through a series of basketball drills and games.

So far we have played host to Captains and legends Jade Melbourne and Alex Sharp, and super stars Alex Bunton and “Shaq” Shakera Reilly – we can’t wait to see who will come on Monday for our final session!

In addition to this amazing opportunity we have been gifted 120 tickets to the next Capitals home game on Friday 8 December at the Convention Centre, against the Sydney Flames. We would like to fill the Convention Centre with Campbell Primary School families and help lift the roof at the game, so if you would like to come and support our girls, please pop by the office or email Karyn.heitmann@ed.act.edu.au. It will be 'first in' and we ask if you can’t use the tickets for any reason to please them to the school to be reissued. What a great opportunity to gather as a community for a fun evening out before end of year!
