Preschool Philosophy Statement

Thank you to the preschool families who responded to our callout for feedback and consultation in the development of a renewed Preschool Philosophy Statement. It is very exciting to have received information about what the preschoolers and their families value about Campbell Preschool. Responses were very positive and highlighted the warm, supportive and nurturing environment that Emma, Kylie and our support staff create in our preschool.

A draft of the new Preschool Philosophy Statement is below. If you would like to provide any feedback, please feel welcome to get in touch!

Academic Reports

Academic reports will be emailed to Kindergarten to Year 6 families on Thursday 7 December. These reports aim to inform families of their child/ren’s academic progress and achievements, graded against the Australian Curriculum’s Achievement Standards. Reports will also contain a general comment from classroom teachers that describe the learning that has taken place throughout the semester. Families who wish to discuss their child/ren’s reports are welcome to contact the school to arrange an appointment during Week 10.

End of Year Individual Learning Plan (ILP) Meetings

ILP/PLP Meetings will be taking place next week. Thank you to those families who have responded to invitations to let us know if they will be in attendance. The purpose of these meetings is to discuss students on ILP/PLP’s current engagement with learning and school, reflect on their outcomes for the year and identify potential goals for future growth. We are looking forward to working with families to support these learners.
