We are thrilled to announce that our highly anticipated School Market Day is just around the corner – scheduled for Friday, Week 8 this term! This exciting event provides a wonderful opportunity for our Year 5 and 6 students to showcase their creativity, entrepreneurship, and teamwork while offering a delightful shopping experience for the entire school community.

To ensure the success of our School Market Day, we are requesting specific donations of goods from our school community. All proceeds will support whole school initiatives, including the graduation gift from Year 6 to the school community.

Here are the specific goods we kindly ask you to consider donating:

• Trash and Treasure items: good quality items that would appeal to primary aged children;
• Books: gently used or new storybooks, educational books, colouring books, and any reading materials suitable for various age groups;
• Packages of lollies/fun sized chocolates and other confectionery items: including jellybeans, lollipops and bags of fun-sized chocolates;
• Toys and Games: Small toys/stationary/trinkets to be used as prizes including small plastic dinosaurs, pieces of Lego, handballs, stickers or bubble wands;
• Coloured/Glitter Hair spray;
• Rock Painting supplies including river rocks and paint pens; 
• Temporary Tattoos;
• Nail polish;
• Face Paint;
• Craft items: beads, wire, clips, loom bands and chains for jewellery making, balloons, river rocks, rice, google eyes, feathers, felt, food dye, Sharpie pens and cooking oil;
• Paper cups and wooden sticks;
• Take-away style containers with lids;
• Ice Cream toppings (choc/strawberry/caramel)
• Ice Cream sprinkles (various);
• Oreos;
• Choc chips;
• Mini marshmallows;
• Honeycomb pieces;
• Wafers;
• Small disposable ice cream bowls;
• Anything else that would be appropriate for ice cream toppings;
• Lollies includng snakes, party mix, jelly lollies, skittles, starburst, packets of jaffas;
• Bracelet making materials including beads, elastic cord, charms;
• Halloween items for the Haunted House;
• Cooking Oil;
• Alka-seltzer tablets;
• Food colouring;
• Lego;
• Packets of balloons;
• Paper cups;
• Small sauce sized take away tubs for slime;
• More jars and small take away containers.

We will do an additional call out closer to the date for perishable food items. A regular update will be sent through Seesaw and Facebook with donation progress to confirm what is still required.

Your thoughtful contributions will not only help our students set up their market stalls but will also create an enriching experience for our school community. It's a fantastic way to declutter and support our school simultaneously!
