On Thursday 22 September, all students in Year 1 and 2 participated in an ‘olden-time school day’.

Students had fun playing some games from the past such as fly, elastics, hopscotch, horseshoe throw and a traditional circle game. They enjoyed testing their fine motor skills playing marbles and jacks! They also got to practise what it was like to do their handwriting with chalk on little blackboards and with ink pens and quills.

Teachers dressed up in old fashioned clothes, which the students found quiet amusing, reinforcing the strict demeanour of teachers back in past!

A great day was had by all.
