Principal's Report
Dear families and carers,
We hope this newsletter finds you well and enjoying the start of the winter season. We have some news to share regarding changes within our school community.
Firstly, I will temporarily move across to Kingsford Smith School as Principal from 26 June 2023 until the end of Term 3. I will continue to be actively involved with Campbell Primary School, and I am confident that our fantastic team will ensure a seamless transition during my absence.
I want to thank the Campbell Primary School community for the incredible support you have shown me over the years. Working alongside dedicated teachers, exceptional students, and supportive parents has been a source of immense joy and pride. I am grateful for the collaborative spirit and the shared commitment to providing the best possible education for our children.
During this transitional period, I am pleased to announce that Ms Erin Minehan will step into the role of Acting Principal pending official recruitment processes. Ms Minehan is an experienced and highly capable educator integral to our school leadership team. Her commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment is commendable, and I have complete confidence in her ability to lead our school.
Additionally, pending recruitment processes, Ms Kate Herrington will be acting as Deputy Principal. Ms Herrington brings experience in educational leadership and a deep understanding of our school's vision and values. Her dedication to student welfare and academic excellence will ensure the continued success of Campbell Primary School.
Furthermore, I am delighted to share that Mr Alistair Scherer will continue as Executive Teacher. Mr Scherer has been an invaluable asset to our school community, and his expertise in future focus learning and inquiry learning will continue to enrich the educational experience of our students.
In more exciting news, we welcome Ms Kerry Johnstone to Campbell Primary School.
