The 2023 ABC Canberra Community Spirit Awards celebrate the power, strength, and diversity of our vibrant community by recognising people who are making a difference. Nominations are now open for the 2023 ABC Canberra Community Spirit Awards. There awards are split into four categories:

• Community All Star (individual) - recognises outstanding leadership, vision and ingenuity of an individual which has led to greater community good will.
• Multicultural Community Champion (team or individual) - recognises a team or individual who unites people from various cultural backgrounds to celebrate diversity and promote multiculturalism.
• Senior Community Champion (individual) - recognises a person who is 60 years or older and demonstrates exceptional dedication towards their community, resulting in increased goodwill within the community.
• Youth Community Champion (individual) - recognises outstandng leadership, vision and ingenuity of an individual aged between 18 and 30, which has led to greater community good will.
