Campbell Primary Mosaic Project

This term has kicked off with the Campbell Primary Mosaic Project, generously funded by the P&C. Students from Preschool to Year 6 all had the opportunity to spend time with local artist, Tina van Raay, for a hands-on mosaic workshop.

Several students in Years 5/6 enjoyed helping Tina grout and polish the main mosaic which will be displayed on the external wall of the school, outside the corridor to the hall. All students from Preschool to Year 6 enjoyed working with Tina to create lots of mini-mosaic boards. Next, we need to find a spot to display them all!

This was an incredible opportunity for our learners, and we were blown away by how engaged and enthusiastic everyone was to participate. Special thanks to Tina, for her boundless creativity, energy, and patience as she worked with over 300 students to create many, many masterpieces for our community to enjoy for years to come! Big thank you to the P&C for providing our school with this enriching opportunity.

Birrigai Long Day Adventure - Years 3 and 4

On Wednesday 24 May (Week 5), students from Years 3 and 4 will be off to Birrigai for a long day adventure! Due to availability,  we are fortunate to be spending slightly more time at Birrigai than last year, leaving school at precisely 09:00 am, and returning at 04:50 pm. This will allow students to participate in more activities and maximise our time away from school. Permission notes have been sent home to families this week. If you require another note, please contact the front office. We are looking forward to this action-packed adventure day and can’t wait to share the highlights with you!
