About the Event

Current and former serving ADF families are invited to attend the Last Post Ceremony at the Australian War Memorial (AWM) on 24th April 2023. Following the Ceremony, the Commemorative Area (Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Roll of Honour and Pool of Reflection) will remain open for A Time of Reflection during which families of veterans will be invited to remain behind. The OZY Youth Choir Honouring Defence Service will sing as families quietly reflect. Veteran children and families will lay bears and crosses during this time and veteran children will be able to write a note to place with their bear. The notes will be archived in the memorial.

Registration Essential as Numbers are Limited

Numbers for this event are limited due to the construction works at the War Memorial, so it is important that you register below as your ticket will include entry to both The Last Post and A Time of Reflection. Thank you for your understanding.
