Alliance Française Canberra is holding the annual Francophonie Market on Friday 24 March from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm. The market will be held on the Alliance grounds at 66 McCaughey Street, Turner.  This family-oriented event will have over 10 French-speaking countries exhibiting their national food and drinks. The National Francophonie Week (18-26 March) is a great opportunity to celebrate and learn about French-speaking countries and their cultures. The Francophonie week is supported by other events such as an evening of short films at the Australian National University, a film sponsored by the Belgian embassy at the Palace Electric Cinema and other activities relating to French culture across the world.
