On Friday, 31 March, the Year 6 Fundraising and Community Committee will be hosting Crazy Hair Day, The Shave and a Sausage Sizzle to raise funds for the Cancer Council. This is a student-led project with the proceeds going towards supporting cancer research initiatives, helping cancer patients access the care they need, and funding education and awareness programs to help prevent cancer in the future.

On this day, we are encouraging students to come to school with their hair styled in a crazy, wacky or unusual way. This can include using hair dye, gel, spray, or any other hair accessories they desire. During morning Yuma, we will be hosting ‘The Shave’ where several students and staff have volunteered to shave their hair off in support of those who have suffered with this disease.
