Deputy Principal's Report
Individual Learning Plan/Personalised Learning Plans Meetings
Families of children currently on ILPs/PLPs can expect to receive invitations to Plan Review Meetings early next week. These meetings are an opportunity for families to meet with classroom teachers, and in some instances, Annette Gloeckler (School Psychologist) and a member of the school’s Executive Team will also attend. The purpose of the end of year ILP/PLP meetings is to reflect on the learning that has taken place this year and determine the next steps for learners by devising learning goals for 2023.
The date, time and location of the meetings will be displayed on each invitation. Due to the complexities of timetabling for these meetings, if you are unable to attend the meeting will still take place during the allocated time and the ILP will be sent home to families.
We thank families for their flexibility and engagement in this process.
Preschool - Year 2 Community Picnic
This week, families of Preschool - Year 2 families have received save-the-date invitations to a special P-2 community picnic. This is an opportunity for families of our junior school students to get together and enjoy a picnic lunch under the shade of our beautiful trees, followed by some singing by our little people.
We ask that families remember that we are a nut free school, and that food is not shared between children.
Keep an eye out for further information about special snack boxes that will be available to purchase through the canteen.
We hope to see lots of families there!
Staff Farewell and Welcome
This week we farewell Rachel Honner, who is commencing her maternity leave. We wish Rachel all the best as she embarks on this very exciting next chapter! Angela Lawlor is taking over 2H. We are very happy to welcome Angela back to Campbell after she completed a teaching prac here with the Year 2 cohort earlier this year.
