The Kindy, Year 1 and Year 2 scientists had a wonderful time celebrating National Science week. They worked with a partner and created a rain cloud in a jar!  There were squeals of delight as they observed the process of precipitation happening before their eyes.

If you want to have a go at home, you will need:

• a clear jar
• water
• food colouring
• shaving foam

As the cloud collects more water it will become so heavy that it will not be able to hold on any longer and it will begin to drip the food colouring rain into the water.
